Default Decent SQ Components??

I'm wondering what other options I have for some decent SQ Components... I have Memphis MC-S6's in the front and I really do love them.. I've had them in for a couple years now and that has to be the longest lasting set of speakers I've ever had in this car. I've got Alpine's in the back, but just 2 ways non-components and Not really sold on them.

I've been beating on my Memphis 6.5's for about a year now with a 50x4 amp and they take it pretty well. Should I just stay with these or look into something else? I need a set for the back, but they're pretty pricey.

Your fade should be [almost] completely to the front, anyway. If you like the Memphis speakers then just stick with them. There are plenty of better speakers, though.

those rear speaker are really just a filler speaker for the soundstage of the car. These car's are small inside and only really need a good component front and a sub. I have Boston Acoustic PRO60's and wouldnt want anything else. I wouldnt spend a whole lot of money on different rear speakers honestly, maybe something a little better than the Alpines though.

I've been running a set of Infinity reference series components in the front for about 4 years now and they take every bit of abuse I throw their way with a smile. Memphis should be pretty comparable. I'd say stick with what you have unless you just want to replace them.

Good deal then. And I thought that you could do a set of mid-bass speakers in the rear?? I was told not the front... ??? Forgot which one it was.

Yeah, you could do that if you want. If you want a little bass augmentation from the back without going with a real subwoofer (i.e. stealthbox) then I recommend Peerless SLS on a decent aftermarket amp. Do not use them up front, though. They are only usable up to around 500Hz.

^ I've got dual Kappa Perfect 12's in the back now.. Maybe something for a little better, more defined mid bass?

Budget, then? I want to tell you Rainbow CS 265 X-Plain Pro, but that component set is $400-500... Are you running that 4ch amp bridged to the fronts or what?

FYI... I have Polk Audio 6750's (6 3/4 components) in the front, stock AMP, Pioneer DEH-6800, and I really like the SQ on those components. Not a lot of bass though...

^ I'll look into those as well. I'd like some NICE bass guitar sounds out of these though. My Memphis ones work pretty good, but maybe it's the backs that's throwing me off. I need tips for my exhaust SOON and need to maybe shut this thing up a little more because the loud exhaust is ******* with the frequency range of my stereo. Sounds like I'm missing freq's from time to time prolly because fo the cancellation between the two. (Just changed the exhaust last weekend.. Stereo was tuned before this.)

And BTW... Static-X "Hypure" is an AWESOME song to tune your setup to!! AWESOME AWESOME!! That **** kicks something FIERCE! Try it next time guys! Seriously!

No.. Just running all 4 speakers open 50 x 4 full channels. I'd like a better mid amp.
