Default Metra Headunit Install Kit

Just grabbed a Metra Install Kit for a single din install. I couldn't stand the stock headunit anymore. Audio quality is phenomenal. Only downfall is there are only front USB's and no bluetooth. (I don't plan on using bluetooth regardless.)

So, mounting the kit seems to give me an issue. The camaro mount area has a wall along the left. There's a bolt and nut coming out of the install kit that makes it not want to go in. The bolt tends to rub, and there's no space for it to sit.

I've debated cutting a hole or even epoxy. But before I go ahead through either, anyone have any other suggestions.

Get a different kit if its a 97+ console. You want the 99-3300. If its the LT1 dash, I used to grind the bolts a bit and also notch a spot for it to sit in the dash itself.
