01 silverado headlights
My 2000 did the same thing....its the little black sensor on the dash. The dash pad had to be removed, its a little complicated without directions but very easy with them. My sensor was $8 shipped off ebay used, and its not something that breaks often. Google it or search on the full size chevy forum or gm trucks forum and you can find step by step instructions. Its pretty simple but there's a trick to taking the handle off above the airbag on the passenger side. Its been a couple of years since I did mine but I remember it taking about 20 min. Good luck!
