Converting tape player to Cd player in fbody? Can it be done?
Converting tape player to Cd player in fbody? Can it be done? Say I had a stock tape player in my 2000 camaro. Can it be swapped with a stock cd player from a camaro? If I also have steering wheel controls would those have to be reprogrammed or something?
it can be done,
my 2 cents buy one of those cassette to audio jack adapter, then just use a mp3 player in my experience its more reliable or just buy a newer aftermarket player, my brother converted 98 camaro tape to a 2000 cd player, he can only play original cds, and sometimes skips in hard bumps,
(not saying they are all like that but just something to keep in mind)

I'd like a Cd player rather than an aux port for an ipod, I know sometimes the cd skips but imo much easier having the cd ready to go and able to use the steering wheel controls. I LOVE THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS LOL.
