Cd Player Help

Okay so I'm having a problem with my stock Monsoon Cd player in my 02 SS.
Everytime I play a Cd and hit even the smallest bump, my Cd player will skip and will scratch the Cd all to hell to where it wont even play anymore.

Can anyone tell me how i might be able to fix this, maybe buying a new Cd player?

Buying a new cd player would definetily fix the problem. There has to be somekind of problem throwing off the balance of the cd but I cant tell you what that you be.
