Default Kill Switch Engaged

Hi guys, wanted to know what it the best route to go with installing these two kill switches i have.

I will be hiding them somewhere under the passenger side dash and i wanted to get a wiring diagram so that i knew which wires to use.

Unfortunatly no one but the dealership could do that.

and guess what? their software doesnt let them go all the way back to the 4th gen years

So can you guys help me out with a diagram and locations/ whether i should

do starter and fuelpump or see if i can hook the trans up to one of the

switches or what?

Personal experiance and photos of setups are very much appreciated

I assume you are looking to tap in to existing systems rather than wire up something new?

They are either lying to you, want to get rid of you, or don't know what they hell they are talking about. GM mechanics have access to all of this online.

Not for free. The diagrams are under copyright from Helm Inc. If you are getting in to this type of work, you should have the full set of GM Factory Service Manuals. (This is what Tecs can get to online.) You can do an online subscription for $20 a day - but getting the manuals is (IMO) a better value. The manuals have full schematics for all of the systems, describe each wire, pinpoint all of the body penetrations, and describe all of the splices/connectors. See this thread for more on the manuals - https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-m...pair-book.html

BTW - Lots of places offer custom switch panels that fit in the ash tray cavity.
