Question What size speakers

I need some ideas on what size speakers to get? I want to replace these crappy factory ones. Also what channel amp i need. My plan is to run 2 10's and another 10 where that cd changer goes.

Thanks,
Kenny

If you are going to run 3 10's, why not put them all in the spare tire well? I'm curious as to what you want to do.

Not looking to do that. I'm thinking about putting 2 10's right above my t-top area and the third in the cd changer area. Plus i need to know the factory speaker sizes, and what amp (2,4..ie channel)?

Camaro (coupe not convertible)
Front doors: 6.5 inch 'S' oversized with .6 inch tweeter mounted coaxially
Sail panels: 6.5 inch subwoofers
Rear hatch area: 4 inch midrange

Choice of amp depends on what other speakers (besides the 10s) you want to use.

Why not just put the 2 10's then? I think you are going to get some wierd resonances and reverberations with that type of setup. Besides the fact that it will just look goofy. You will also more than likely need at least 2 amps if you are going to run 3 subs and some components. All depends on what speakers you go with, wattage they require, how much you want to spend, etc. I don't think you're going to find a 5 channel amp that will power 3 subs, and a set of components. At least not to their potential.
