new sq setup need help with subs/amp sup guys, im planning on setting up a decent budget sq/spl setup for my car. Everything is going to be hidden and I will still have access to my t-top holders so stealthbox is on my list. So far right now all i have is my headunit installed but in the next few weeks i would be purchasing the following. Right now the only dilemma i have is subs/enclosure and sub amp. heres a list what im planning on getting:
headunit: kenwood kdc-x891
Comp sets: hertz hsk165xl
coaxial rears: hertz hck165
4ch amp: alpine pdx-f4
Subs:?
Amps:?
Misc: Kee Audio amp rack; 6literdesign tweeter pods
My original plan is to get the jlw3 stealth box with an alpine pdx-m6 for the subs, but i know theres better and more quality stuff out there. I have search around and theres options of re audio, ssa icon, idq's, etc the list goes on. just need some input of other people setup and how they like it. I dont need massive spl, but something that sounds great and hits pretty good.
