Default wiring gurus please help!!

hey guys so this is my issue, my buddy just picked up a 1995 lt1 trans am, guy that had it before thought he was a diyer and cut alot of wires trying to rig **** up and its a mess. i took some pics i just need help deciphering where the wires go and what they control so i can fix it.

so basically the guy b4 wired up his fan so that it only comes on when his fog light switch is on, but what i cant figure out is what wires went to the fan before, i found this wires cut right next to the fan but they dont match the colors on the pigtail connector.

these four wires were tucked behind the plastic trim by the hood lever.

found this fuse box with some wires he rigged up and a lone purple wire, had trouble tracing these ones

these wires are coming off that fuse box in the last pic and are cut just chilling there

up top i found this white wire its coming from the harness that comes through the firewall

found this pigtail connector between the radiator and battery

and last but not least these two brown wires we found cut by the power steering reservoir.

i would really appreciate some help im trying to fix the car up for him as a surprise, thanks in advance!

Dang man I wish you were closer. It is so much easier to trace and diagnose stuff like this in person rather over the internet.

Even so, I'm going to look over my diagrams and see if I can identify some of that for you.

For the cut off wires (like the white one) is the other end visible anywhere?

Do all the gauges work right? There is a white wire that goes between the instrument cluster and the PCM for the tachometer.

Actually, aside from the cooling fans being wired weird, is there anything else that does not work normally?

Maybe pull a fuse at a time from the add-on fuse box and see what stops working (if anything). It looks almost like the 4 wires you have hanging by the hood release catch are the same color as the 4 original wires on that fuse box. you sure it is a fuse box?

The colors of the wires to the fans are light blue and black for the left fan, brown and black for the right fan. It looks like those 4 wires you have hanging there are the ones you want but I can't tell exactly what color they are from the picture.

I'll post again as I figure out other possibilities.

hey man first off thank you for replying i appreciate it, by looking at it its really hard to trace the wires some are just cut and you can only trace it so far before it gets lost in the mess i am having trouble with some as far as being able to tell what came factory. the kid that had it before just cut **** then figured out he did it wrong then tried to splice them back together again.
the tach and speedo work also. best part to is when i was under the car looking at the fan wiring the guy b4 took out the passenger fan so only one fan is hooked up and like i said he has it wired to his fog lights lol
