Passlock problems

HHey any one have any link on which wire to ground to the chassis to byoass the oasslock security system? Thanks

There is no such wire. Bypassing the security system involves installing the correct resistors in the sensor wires to simulate the resistor pellet in the original key. A search for VATS bypass will get you lots of information. (VATS = Vehicle Anti Theft System)

i agree with whitebird, so long as the BCM is not the issue then bypassing the column/key is done via resistors, not grounding a wire.

Its a friends car. 1995 V6 and the security light keeps coming on and car runs just annoyed. Just figured bypassing the security system would get the light off possibly

The wiring is different on earlier models but the principle is the same. You still have to install resistors to bypass the VATS module. You can get more details at http://shbox.com/1/vats_bypass.jpg.
