What type of speaker is this?
What type of speaker is this? I was wondering if anybody knew what type of speaker this is?
I don't have any tools to take the door panel off right now to check the back.
The sound system sounds kind of shitty and I'm wondering if its because these are cheap or maybe they are the wrong type, i.e. 4ohm instead of 2ohm.
I also checked the ones in the sail panel and they are the exact same.
Sorry pictures pretty big. Not sure how to resize it.

The impedance makes very little difference and it only affects volume not quality of sound. The problem is likely the fact that they are the wrong types of speakers for the system (assuming a Monsoon system) and could also be wired incorrectly. For example, any coaxial speaker will sound bad in the sail panels because the amp is designed for subs there and only provides low frequency signal.
You are right, he just wired the speaker up and left the wires hanging for the tweeter it seems.
