Default Dynomatted Today

Phew, took me about 6 hours but The rear seats, rear 1/4s, and doors are done! I had ordered some Dynaxorb for behind the mids, but the company cancelled my order and told me they couldn't get it any more . Still need to get some MLV to quiet my gears down.

I'm still undecided on whether to do the Floor and Roof.

Nice!

I did the ENTIRE interior and I think it was around 20 hours. Worked mostly sunday afternoons and it took me a couple visits to finish it.

Mass loaded Vinyl

It is an extremely effective sound blocker, unlike dynamat and similar products which may cut noise a little but are primarily for vibration. We are talking 30+db's quieter for the mid-high frequencies.

MLV weighs about a lb a sq foot so I'm only going to put it behind the rear seats and over the wheel wells.

Still undecided as to what Sub to go with. But I am leaning towards a JL 8w7AE sealed between the rear seats on top of the driveshaft in the Cabin. There is a Gas tank between the Cabin and the Trunk and I'd like to have my trunk space.

I have 2 4ch amps and 2 mono's. The 300w mono runs the midbass and the 700w mono runs the Sub. The 2 4channels is because I may or may not go 3 way active instead of passive.

Right now one of the 4 channels is bridged to the front, so there is only 2 spare channels in the system.
