Monsoon system woofer swap
Hi all, another Monsoon question:
The passenger side rear side panel woofer is blown. I ordered a "new" Monsoon direct replacement online.
Any pics/tips on getting to the speaker in the wall to replace it / removing the grill? I just don't want to mess anything up, stock looking = perfect!
Thanks in advance for any and all info/tips!

The plastic speaker cover pops right off...after that just unscrew the 4 crews securing it in place. Then disconnect the plastic connection for the wiring. Take your new sub and install it in reverse order. Pretty simple if you have a stock replacement.
Have fun!

Tip #1 - Cancel your order. The speakers blow because of a design defect. The one you ordered will have the same defect, will have an old/brittle suspension, and could very well blow the minute you turn it on.
Tip #2 - Search this site or go see Kee audio for other options.
