Headlights and dash lights always on! Okay, I added a steering wheel control interface to my Pioneer CD player so that I could keep my steering wheel controls with an aftermarket player. The steering wheel controls and player work fine, but that night I noticed all my dash lights were out. I found that the IP dimmer fuse was blown and replaced it. Nothing changed. I then found out that the Tail LPS fuse that powers the IP dimmer fuse was blown and changed it. All the lights came back on. The problem now is that my headlights and all my dash lights come on when I turn on the ignition. I also cannot dim the interior lights at all with the dimmer. Anyone have any ideas on where the problem might be? I thought maybe the light sensor in the dash was bad, but if that were so why would the dimmer not work either?
