Hello everyone. I'm having a strange issue ever since I had my new head unit installed. My head unit shuts off at random times. Sometimes it takes 1 second to come back on, sometimes it takes a few minutes. I noticed the other day that during this time the head unit shuts itself off, my windows lose power also, but everything else including door looks seems to work just fine. As soon as the head unit powers itself back on, the windows start working again also. What could possibly be causing this issue?

I had the same radio in my old firebird, and it kept turning itself off just like this one. Thought it was the radio, so I exchanged it for the same thing. New head unit, new car. Same issue.

Head unit is Alpine CDE-122
