Headunit Shuts off Randomly

Headunit Shuts off Randomly i have a kenwood ddx512 and just recently, it has been randomly shutting off. before i begin, it could be from the heat. having an all black car inside and out gets very hot. when i took out the HU to check the connections (all were tight except one blue wire on the wiring harness on the car end, not the HU end but it didnt seem as if the connector had a wire coming out of the other end from that wire. the fuse on the radio was still good.
also, when i turn off the car it will shut off and not do the 15min wait period like everything else. when it does that, the rest of the stuff still works until i open the door (ie windows can still go down and up) it could be a wire to to the radio from the bcm but i have no clue which one that is. any ideas on anything?
