Only Driver Side Speakers Working
Only Driver Side Speakers Working Can't figure out wuts wrong wit my speakers as all 4 are brand new (removed the 2 hatch speakers years ago). When i plug the wires from my headunit into my amp, i can either get the 2 driver speakers to work OR the 2 pass side speakers to work. Also, im getting a nasty feedback from the passenger side speakers which is there regardless of which side speakers i choose to plug in.
Can i simply just wire my speakers straight to the headunit and completely ditch the amp? i dont really care about big bass or anything, just want all 4 speakers working

are we talking a monsoon amp, or an aftermarket amp? Have you checked the fuses on the HU, the amp, and the fuse panel? The balance control on the HU? Tried a different RCA cable? Looked for pinches in the RCA cable?

its an aftermarket amp. the car didnt come wit monsoon to begin wit tho. ive tried rewiring from the amp to the speakers and it got all the speakers to work, however i have the issue of either just the driver side functioning or just the pass side functioning. i cant get both sides to function at once.
im really hoping that i can just plain ditch the amp all together and simply wire the speakers straight to the headunit. is this doable?

Try temporarily stringing a new RCA cable(s) over the seats from the HU to the amp and see if it makes a difference. Also verify that all fuses on the amp are good. How many channels does the amp have?
Yes, you can drop speaker wires from the speakers directly to the HU. Look at the wiring pin-out of the HU harness in the FAQ. It may be helpful to know the models of the HU, speakers, and amp.
