How do I wire Type R components?
How do I wire Type R components? I'm looking to install some type R component speakers into my front doors. I previously had infinity's in there that started getting a bit beat. Those were set up going from the amp to the little infinity crossover, which then plugged into the woofer and tweeter which was on the woofer.
When I looked at the crossover that alpine supplies, I noticed that there is only 2 pairs of wires, 1 labelled input and the other labelled tweeter. Am i missing something or shouldn't there be a third pair of wires for the woofer? Or do the Alpines go from the Amp power to the woofer, then off the woofer to the crossover then to the tweeters?

New Network Crossover

It’s 75% smaller than previous networks and uses extremely high-grade components, along with extremely precise trace wire tweeter resistance built right in to the crossover circuit board. The crossover’s cover slides back to reveal 4-levels of tweeter adjustments: 0dB, -2dB, -4dB, and -6dB for precise tuning. The crossover network is designed to go in-line with the tweeter, while the woofer’s network is mounted on the woofer itself for easier installation. The system still is bi-amp ready, too.
