Default Headlight Broken?

Let me start off by saying Im super paranoid about anything happening to my car because I love it so much. That being said my dad and I were installing my SSRA2 tonight when we were doing some work. My dad was leaning over the car and placed his left hand on the upper right corner of the left headlight cover. I heard a crack! I noticed that I was able to lift the left headlight door about a 1/2 inch higher then the right cover when the lights where turned off. It may be an optical illusion but it also seems that the part were he pressed on sits lower then the hood where as the right matches it almost perfect. The headlights seem to be working fine, but other then my intial observations do you think that he broke anything or am I just being stupidly paranoid? Thanks alot!
