Sail panel speaker problems For whatever reasoning the previous owner of my SS decided to have an aftermarket sub on the passenger side of the car. The driver side of the car has the factory adapter and had a factory delco sub (blown). At this point would it be possible to get a factory adapter to complete the wiring? Im open to suggestions here.
So, you want to put a factory wiring harness on the aftermarket side so you can plug in a factory speaker?
If you haven't searched through the threads on these topics, this is not advisable. You'll be much happier with a good quality aftermarket speaker. (The stockers will blow on you instantly - made worse by the age of the stock at this point.)

Im going to post photos later tonight, I have to agree so far everything points to putting aftermarket replacements in for both sides. Thank you for your help WSSIX99. Wouldn't two different types of replacements create a distorted sound?
Yes, you'll be happier with matching speakers. The stock ones are incredibly weak and are likely to be aged new old stock. (So, the paper and foam will already be old and brittle on you.) Aftermarket is the only way to go on the sail panels.
I put the factory connectors on my aftermarket but realized that all the connectors really do is make the car easier to assemble at the factory. You should be just as good to ditch the connectors all together and hook the wires up directly to the speakers. (If you can.)
