It works pretty well.
Few people have them in foodies & here is a thread about it with a video. https://ls1tech.com/forums/wiring-stereo-electronics/1512827-keyless-ignition-entry-like-c6.html
Vats has to be bypassed just like for any other keyless entry & remote start system.
You ll have to disable the steering wheel lock (also discussed in the thread).

You can get within less than 1/2 percent with only two resistors. The VATS system has a 10% tolerance so that would be close enough and a lot easier to work with than soldering six resistors in series.
3600 + 150 in series = 3750 (+0.267%)
3300 + 430 in series = 3730 (-0.267%)
3000 + 750 in series = 3750 (+0.267%)
But the best way is:
7500 + 7500 in parallel = 3750 (+0.267%)
This involves only one type of resistor so you can buy a package rather than looking for individual resistors. Also, connecting resistors in parallel is much more compact than in series.

I am very interested in the keyless entry system, I dont really have a desire for the push button so much... What I am curious about is the subject of the steering column lock. The G/F's 12' Suzuki uses a key fob that you can leave in your pocket, twist a standard ignition switch and go... It does have a small key in case the remote dies also.
My idea/question is this, can you buy a unit like the Advance Key, bypass the VATS and then leave just leave the "teeth" of a key in the ignition switch to allow the ignition to still start the car and unlock the column? (Basically just cut the head off the key and insert it) I have gotten used to the way the Suzuki system operates, it still uses a small button on the door handles to lock/unlock the car without using a key or the fob and the Advance system takes it one step further by "auto" arming/disarming/locking/unlocking the car.
Any thoughts on this? The only problem I see is that anyone could break into the car and be able to rotate the ignition easily, but the cut off key shouldnt be very visible (I have dark tinted windows anyway) and if someone gets into the car it doesnt take long to hot wire or destroy the igntion cylinder anyway.

Bad408vert answered all my questions, basically it was right there on their website and I missed it somehow. The Advance Key system has the ignition switch option that operates (and even looks) exactly like the system in the Suzuki. I am going to have to get one of these systems.
Jbro90, be sure to post up pics of the kit and the install if you can!

I accidentally broke the spring for my lock back when I was digging into my steering wheel, so I just removed the lock, it's not too hard to get to, it will just take some time because of all the little things that have to be removed to get to it. I believe there is a thread on steering wheel column removal, search for that.

I did but I think I might just cut the key in half and stick it into the ignition and turn it to the on position and leave it that way cause no one could steal it that way cause the wires to the ignition will be cut and sent to the button then might put ay cap or something over that I think
