Trans am wont start with security light on I have a 2002 trans am that will not start on some mornings/nights with just the security light on. The light stays on for about 5 or 10 minutes, then I try again and hope it works. I have read about the bypass and reasons, but mine seems to be a bit different.
It acts the same, but only seems to act up when it is cold. I've only had problems during the night and morning. I have tried reading the resistance on my key and only got 0.5 ohms. I dont know if that sounds right.
