Default Pioneer Double Din Install Completed

I completed my install of a Pioneer 5500 double din radio.

My photo skills are are not something to be desired.

In process of modifying the radio bezel.

Fabbed mounting brackets so radio is flush with the hvac controls. (dirty from face plate fitting)

Next: Upgrade to speakers

Radio looks great. Are your dash panels wrapped in vinyl or just really really clean?

Good install, where did you get the suede pieces from? Or did you make them.

I used Restore Black made by Bondo. I put it on last year and it still looks good. I did all my inside plastic.

I had Redline make the originals but I did not like the look, so a trimmer buddy remade them. I changed the shifter trim to leather this year.

Either way still looks good to me. Actually found your build on another site and read all of it. Great care and detail went into your car and it definitely shows. Really like it.

Did you get those trims this shiny/glossy just by using "restore black made by Bondo. They look custom fabricated parts. I'd like to know more about those.

No, the radio, console trim plates along with the cluster and door handle pockets have been painted.

Looks incredible! But for 2700 miles I'd expect it to!

I want your steering wheel!
