Default Adding a line level output converter

Hi i have a Trans Am 97 with stock stereo-amp but with kee audio level 4 speaker upgrade and want to add an amp and subwoofer, so i want to know wich would be the best way to install the line level output converter to add a subwoofer, do i get the line level conected to the rear hatch mids, tweeters(before the filter, i know this signal is direct from the stereo) or from the subs? which would sound better or have the best sound (clean) from my amp?
