lights wont go out hello all, just had my Formula hatch replaced with a Trans Am hatch at the bodyshop, and on the way home I noticed the hatch open light on the dash is on, also my map lights and dome light stay on, but the hatch is shut and latched. Any way I can check for adjustment issues that the car thinks the hatch is open? Thanks.
Your car is mad at you. Formulas are very sensitive to this kind of thing. It wants its hatch back.
I recall there is a switch in the latch mechanism that senses open/closed. The issue is problably there. I'd start with checking the wiring and then using the shaft of a screwdriver to actuate the latch and see if the latch works without the hatch actually shutting.
