Steering audio controls recently stopped functioning Hello, I recently installed an axillary/charging unit for my cell phone into my 2002 Camaro. Upon installation and a couple days afterwards, the steering mounted audio controls worked fine.
However today when I was driving, I noticed that the steering controls would either not work at all, or would perform an unintended action. Such as when I adjusted the tuner, the head unit would display switching presets - then would stop working. Another instance, I would adjust the volume on the steering wheel and the tuner would adjust - the controls would then become non-responsive after a couple moments.
I am fairly certain that I must have made an error somewhere in installation, though it is strange the steering controls worked fine for a couple days after installation...
