I just installed some gauges in my formula and am having some trouble with them remembering the color selection... i wired them to the fuse box on the drivers side, where the factory battery and ignition sources are.... anyway it will remember the color if i just turn the switch to the on position but as soon as i crank it they change back to blue any suggestions... thanks

The gauges are 7 color series glowshift if that helps

Im thinking that when you start the car that it cuts the power to that circuit so im thinking if i run it straight to the battery it will fix it any one to confirm this before i go threw the trouble of running and hiding wire to the battery

run the yellow power wire to the battery and install an inline fuse, make sure you have a good ground with the black wire and the red wire goes to the fuse panel for the switched connection (power only when key is in the on position), Ive seen some car HU's where people just connected the red and yellow wires to the same "switched" power source and they lose there settings every time they shut the car off, thats about all I can figure may be happening. the yellow wire must ALWAYS have unswitched positive battery connection ("always on" power) or it will forget settings.
