Footwell lighting

Footwell lighting Anyone know how to install LED footwell lighting? Im getting interested in blue lighting that has a switch that will allow the LED’s to come on when doors open, and have a manual switch that allows me to keep them on when driving. Not interested in the RICER NEON look bullSh!t. Just some ambient style look.
Any tips on what wires to mess with, what to connections, ect.
BTW car is a 93 Z28 with a 94 PCM.

try doing a search, I know there are quite a few threads on this, most just wire it into the interior light circuit.
I know what you mean on the ricer ones, when my brother bought his prelude it had purple ones and we had to rip them out because they made it hard to see out at night.

if you want to be able to have them come on with either the doors open or manual switch, you will need to wire the positive side of the lights to at 12v source ( I would use the RAP) and wire the negative side of the lights to a relay. The negative wire from the lights should go to terminal 30 on the relay, and terminal 87 should be wired to ground. Then, wire terminal 86 to a 12v RAP source, and have a wire on terminal 85 split off in two, with one wire going to the negative door trigger wire, and the other wire going to your switch. The other side of the switch should go to ground.
