lighting problem

lighting problem So ive done alot of research and alot of testing and looking and i cant find the anwser. Right now the question is why wont my for lights turn on, why do my parking lights always stay on (when the switch on or off), and why does the cluster lights not turn on.
Also when i try to flick the fog light switch on the leg switch never turns on. i just bought 2 new fog lights so its not the problem. just bought 2 new turn signle/ parking light harness. (not yet installed) i dont see the for lights getting power, i tried the dinner and doesnt do anything other than turn the dome light on when its all the way up. so i think the dimmer and switch is the problem. can anyone hellp me and tell me where i can get a new one. also how do you get that out.

check your fuses and test your relays. what car is this on? if it's a firebird the front "turn signals/parking light" is also your DRL so it is ALWAYS ON if the car is on, the fog lights and the actual parking lights (meaning all the side markers and rear lights) and dash lights get there power from the same fuse that is in the panel inside the door (I forget its exact name, but 99 time out of a 100 if you don't have dash lights this is the problem), once those lights are working then move onto the headlights which are a separate circuit.
also please revise your first post, much of that is very hard to read and understand what you are saying (for example the time you wrote dinner when you meant dimmer).

Someone please translate the original post so we can figure it out.
I really couldn't say how to fix the "for" lights. If I had to guess at the problem... you can't get your new fog lights to work, your front amber lamps are on all the time, and your instrument panel doesn't illuminate.
As Daniel said, the front lamps are DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) and are on whenever the ignition is on - normal function.
Also, not only are the cluster lights protected by the TAIL LPS fuse but so are the tail lights, the parking lights and the fog lights. I suspect that the fuse got blown during your installation of the new fog lights. If you replace the fuse and everything works, great. If the fuse blows immediately, go back and check your fog light installation.
