Default Added vehicle protection?

I have the stock alarm that comes with the car how well can that protect me from someone stealing it? can people bypass the electronic key to keep the car on? what do you guy do for added security? I live in Miami and there's a lot of people that steal cars around here so i just don't want to wake up and see my baby gone.

Pull the fuel pump relay. Kind of a pain in the ***, but I know I would especially if I lived somewhere that was known for car theft like the SF bay area, and especially if I had to park on the street overnight.

Obviously that doesn't prevent the car from being rolled away and towed or from them finding that and swapping in another relay, but it adds an extra step into them having to steal the car and maybe that delay will get them caught or cause them to try to move on to another car.

i live in a townhouse community and park my car right in front of my house not in the streets or anything and really if you don't live there, there is no reason you should be there. I am going to get a surveillance camera to record the front, because i also got a Chrysler 300 Hemi on 22's

I have an aftermarket Viper alarm with Motion Sensor/Glass Breakage/tilt sensor/etc; along with an additional relay installed in the starter circuit with a "hidden" activation switch. This 2nd item requires a momentary switch to be held while cranking the car to get it to start. For obvious reasons I'm not going to say where I put the switch or what switch I wired it into.

The viper is an older unit, My car hasn't been on the road in almost 8 years! But is being rebuilt right now. I'm planning on a Viper SMART-START system once I get to the wiring phase.

And the starter kill was based off: http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody/starterkill.htm
