So, I bought a great mix of goodies finally for a complete replacement of the Monsoon system in my 2000 SS coupe. From HU to amp, everything is being replaced. I got CDT coaxials for the doors and CDT HD mids for the sails. I will be using a stealthbox for the sub.
I must be very dumb because I know that there are threads on tips for sealing doors and sails, etc but I can't find them. I want this install to be done RIGHT. Anybody have any tips or links for threads for me?? I know there's a ton of experience out there!

Ok, so Google got me what I needed for sound deadening. I would still love some general tips for mistakes I don't need to make on my first install! Thanks.

Sound deadening? TAKE YOUR TIME. Focus on the worst areas (doors, console area and hatch). Wire all your speakers neatly. If you're going to replace the monsoon amp, and speakers, and add a sub + amp, and sound deaden.... you got a lot of work ahead of you
