Default Speaker blew...now what?

So I have a 94 z28 with the bose system in it and the back left speaker blew out. I was curious as to what it would take to replace it? It has the amp with it and its a bose speaker. I read somewhere the bose systems were a little diff so what needs to be done to replace it? I need a speaker that can handle bass. Any recommendations? I was thinking a pair of kicker 40cs654 or a pioneer TS-a1605C? Will I need a amp to replace the one in it? I have a Pioneer DEH-UB4100P I think.

Unless you plan to rewire, your best bet is to buy an OEM replacement sub. The Bose system uses common ground rather than the more common floating ground of aftermarket systems. You can get OEM replacements for $40-$50 on eBay.
