Best "remote wire" for aftermarket amp
What is the preferred method to tap in a remote wire for an aftermarket amp? In spare tire location....
I was thinking I could use the CD changer or Monsoon amp, but neither seem to have their own "remote" wire.
For now its just killing my battery ever time I let it sit more than 12 hours.

Any aftermarket head unit will have a remote turn-on wire designed specifically for that purpose.
If you've merely added an amp for a sub to the factory system then your best bet is the power antenna wire in a Firebird. Since Camaros don't have that, your best bet is to run a wire from the accessory power at the back of the head unit (yellow wire in factory harness).
