So in the midst of a cam swap on my C5 vette, I accidently pulled this wire from its harness on the ABS system. It appears that this blue wire is suppose to go into the hole labeled "17". Ugh.. Anyone had experience with fixing this?
You need a replacement terminal and a special crimper. Dealers have these items.
The wires are crimped to metal terminals that snap in to the connector. (That connector probably has a mechanical lock that also keeps those terminals engaged to the connector.)
If you don't want to invest in the tools, a dealer should be able to fix that up for you. We also have some sponsors here who can rehab the harness for you.
The terminals are cheap, but the crimpers can be pricey and retail for several hundred dollars.
