Do yourself a favor and get a good CD player, LOC's in my experience suck *****. but since you asked, generally people tap into the rear speakers with them and with the power ratings they typically handle I would imagine they should be wired into the lines between the headunit and amp, the factory amp output may overwhelm the LOC's power handling capabilities, depending on the model you have.
