will this sound like ***? Hey guys. I have a 98 Trans Am with the monsoon system. I have 6.5 bazooka s for the sails coming from Kee Audio. I was going to pick up some entry level 6.5 coax (Pioneer or jvc etc, they're rated 92db sensitivity) for the front and cutting out the coax's tweeter and keep the factory tweeter wired up. What do you think? Or should I look for a mid bass driver to replace the front 6.5s only. I will be picking up components in the future, I just want something better than stock for the meanwhile, need money to fix my cooling leak.

Yea so I purchased 6.5 energy 2 way coax's brand new from Kijiji for 30 bucks and converted them to components. I spend hours modifying wood spacers to fit them in my trans ams speaker basket because the speaker was soo damn tall. Finally got them to fit, hooked them up and didn't sound good at all. Fu#Ken hell
I ended up ordering proper components from kicker off of bestbuy. These paired with the kee audio 6.5 bazooka sail speakers should sound much better.

I would recommend energy speakers for your home theater, they sound really good, I have them at home. Car audio, maybe not
Do yourself a favor and buy a aftermarket amp to power those sail panel speakers as well as a component set of a coaxle set. You will get much more flexibility with tuning as well as you won't be limited to what speakers you can buy due to what ohm they are.
