Backup Cam on a 4th Gen TA
Backup Cam on a 4th Gen TA Anybody do this?
Looks like I have to drill a hole in the back wall of the trunk area. Couldn't see how the license plate light wiring was run and couldn't get my arm in far enough to feel where the wiring went...
Anyone been there?

I think some people have picked one the same size as the key hole and mounted there after removing the lock cylinder.
as for tracing everything I STRONGLY suggest you remove all 3 sections of the trans am tail lights and probably even the bumper, doesn't take all that long to do and you will see what you have to work with which will make things easier, the tag light wiring is clipped to the backside of the bumper and runs over to one side where it plugs into a harness on the body.

FYI, I got a chance to look at my old bumper, the pigtail for the bumper side marker lights and tag lights comes up next to the push pin clip that holds the bumper on that is roughly centered under the middle of the driver side tail light segment.
