New door speakers not working. ....???

New door speakers not working. ....??? Soooo I had time tonight to start replacing my speakers in my 99 Camaro and after it was all said and done my sail speakers (dvc 4ohm wired parallel) work great but my door 6.5 (wired the same) doesn't work and my new tweeters seems a little muffled. I don't have the time to get back into it until this weekend so I was wondering what everyone would think the problem could be. Stock glorious monsoon HU aslo. I just bought the car so I'm slowly figuring out the previous owner didn't really take care of it. Any help would be sooooo gnarly. *new member*
what do you mean by you wired the front doors in parallel? you should have one set of wires going to the 6.5 cone and one set of wires going to the tweeter, the tweeter and woofer should NOT be wired together, also it is very important to have those wired to the PROPER set of wires as one set is filtered for just tweeters and the other is filtered to BLOCK the sound tweeters play which could result in a big drop in range making the speaker play VERY VERY quietly.

You are absolutely correct. I had a pair that went to my stock tweeter and wired into the new one and the other pair that went to the 6.5 mid is wired to the new dvc 4 ohm mid. I wired that in parallel as well as the sail speaker.....which sound awesome lol. I'm hoping the set of wires going to the tweeter and mid are crossed. That's the only thing I can think of right now.

*update* I had time to look at my doors speakers today and it was exactly what I thought. I had the tweeter wires going to the mids and vice versa. Swapped them around and viola! I got sound and life is good.
