Default Remote start wire connection

I have a LS6 in my 1995 Impala SS, I have a Viper 5901 alarm with remote start, it worked fine when I had the LT1, but the shop I went to can't seem to find where the pictured wire connects to for remote start, he installed it onto the fuel injector wire, that's what the Internet told him anyway, all dash lights go on, and the relays actirate when remote start is commanded, but no crank or start ?? Does anyone know where this pictured wire gets connected to ??

Tach output from the pcm. BUT if you relearn the tach signal it should work on the injector same as the tach output. Google tach relearn for the 5901 I have same alarm I put in my truck but forgot the procedure. I think you start the vehicle and hold down the valet button until the LED turns solid if I remember correctly it's been 3 years since I installed. it.

Ditch that POS T tap and solder and heat shrink that connection at the injector.

Both suggestions are correct. I did have a problem with 1 LS vehicle that wouldn't learn the tach from the injector signal. I ended up moving that wire to the coil harness, and the system learned the tach without a problem.

BTW, the parking lights should flash a code whenever the system fails to start. Try to start it again, wait until the remote start system turns the ignition back off, and then count the light flashes.

Let me know, and I can point you in the right direction.
