Aux w/o input Do people still do this mod? Was thinking of offering it as a service if people wanted to ship their radio to me, but didn't know how much people liked that vs. going aftermarket.
I have a 2000 trans am radio with the dreaded e20 code that I would like fixed and have the aux input placed on the right side of the radio.
I just bought one on eBay and feel bad trashing this one.

I'm not a fan of the iSimple units. I've installed about a hundred of them and they usually come back within a month or two with a ****load of problems. The IS32 is okay, but I've been having trouble with their audio inputs being a POS.
There are lots of established shops that do this. Just google "repair GM radio"

Yeah, PAC makes some pretty good stuff, their integration harnesses are amazing (though the speaker they have for chimes for GM vehicles sounds terrible) but the iSimple units are... kinda meh.
The biggest issue I've run into with the vehicle specific units is that half the time it's impossible to select the iSimple as a source. Did one in an Acura MDX and you had to press the Sat button about a hundred times before it'd switch over.
