Brights and turn signal

Brights and turn signal Hey guys,
So i have a 2000 z28 that has had a set of 55w Hid Low beam head lights for about 5 years. So they finally gave out and while trying to replace i have a new issue.
When the car is turned on my High beams are constantly on. When i turn on the car, the dash shows the hi beam light dimly and the left turn signal solid.
There fore i replaced both turn signal bulbs on the left. Also changed the socket in front. I than took out the HIDS and bought factory head light bulbs. The Hi-beams are still on and the bulb in the front blinker will not blink, but does stay solid while the back flashes.
If anyone can give me an idea on what to do next, i'd greatly appreciate it.
My next idea is to replace the Hi-beam switch even though when i flick the hi-beam on. The passenger headlight is completely on (hi and low beam)and the low beam only dimly goes on the drivers side with the Hi-beam light on the dash is fully illuminated.
