I had a similar experience last summer...drove it out in heavy rain and it wouldn't start. Wouldn't even crank. It was one or two of my relays, $30 fix. Maybe check them out if you haven't.

There should be two power feeds at the starter relay. Power to the switching side of the relay comes in on the red wire from the battery via the IGN 50A maxi-fuse in junction box #2 under the hood. Power to the coil side of the relay comes in on the dark green wire from the ignition switch via the STRTR 15A fuse in junction box #2 through the neutral safety switch (automatic) or clutch switch (manual). Power goes from the starter relay to the starter solenoid on the purple wire. Ground for the relay coil is provided by the Body Control Module (BCM) as part of the VATS security system through the yellow/black wire.

If you don't have power on the red wire then you should check the IGN maxi-fuse. If you don't have power on the dark green wire then you should check the STRTR fuse and the neutral safety switch or clutch switch (depending on which transmission you have). If you have power on both then check whether the BCM is grounding the yellow/black wire. The easy way to check this is to run a separate chassis ground to that relay terminal then see if the starter cranks as normal. If so, you have a VATS problem and the car will crank but not start because VATS is also cutting off the fuel feed.

I fixed it ... it was the green wire and the black /yellow wire under the fuse box bad ground is my guess i by passed it with a chassis ground just took 3 days to find the issue thanks for the replys !!!
