Keyless entry issue
Keyless entry issue Wow its been a while since I've posted but I have two questions.....
Recently I have been having an issue with locking/unlocking the car with BOTH fobs. The trunk release and panic work fine but locking/unlocking/arming/disarming the factory alarm doesn't function MOST of the time (sometimes it works).
Is there something that I should check before replacing the BCM? Also I was planning on adding an aftermarket alarm system before the OEM started acting up so here is my second question...... I'm not familiar with the schematics, but if I were to add an aftermarket alarm system would a bad BCM prevent the aftermarket alarm from performing remote entry (locking/unlocking) ?
