Amps power off when start engine

Amps power off when start engine i have an odd problem with my stereo it's been installed for 10 years and worked fine until recently. Its a clarion vrx935vd running an audiobahn a4075hct and a2150hct there is also a 5 farad cap. The remote is ran through relays to control remote power on for amps. I can sit with the accessories on and everything runs great but if I start the engine the amps lose remote power and power down but the head unit retains power. I have tried bypassing the cap and relays but there isn't any power to the remote before the relays. Thought perhaps it was the intermittent BCM problem so I reflow end the solder joint. Hooked the car up to a second car with cables to see if it was a voltage drop still nothing. The power stays between 12-14.4v. I'm down to thinking it's the ignition or perhaps something to do with the RAP module. I'm out of ideas hope the smart people here can point me in the right direction.

There is no RAP module on 98-02 f-bodies... RAP is controlled by the BCM and that is what the solder fix is for.
The RAP system provides power while the ignition is on or in the accessory position and retains that power after ignition shut off until a door is opened (or for about 10 minutes). rpturbo is correct... it does not provide power during engine cranking so if you are using that as your amp remote turn on then it is now working as expected. The question would be how did it ever work any differently?

Yea the amps will momentarily power off but in this instance they wouldn't turn back on. I did figure it out the remote was turning on the relay but the original installer also ran the power antenna off it. I replaced the relay and ran the power antenna to the output of the relay and all things are working correctly. All I can figure is the power antenna is getting old and drawing a few more amps tripping the relay on startup.
