Default Need help with door electrical issue

Every time I open driver side door only it unlocks itself. Passenger door does not do this. I have taken panel off, wires look fine. If I unplug one of the connectors that attach to the lock mechanism inside the door it does not auto unlock when opened.

I have tried searching but no luck. Attached a video to show what it does.

Some more information would be helpful... does the door actually unlock or is it just not locking in the first place? Try locking the door using the manual lock slide on the inside of the door. Leave the window down. When you close the door, lean in and see if the lock slide is still in the locked position. Then try opening the door. Does the door just open or does the slide move to the unlocked position?

It will unlock and lock normally. When door is unlocked and you open it, it unlocks again making that noise. Such as if you were in the car and kept hitting unlock.

Doing what you stated the door will stay locked and will not unlock when you pull handle from outside. Only happens when door is unlocked and opened. Lock other than that functions properly.

I suspect that you have a frayed wire that is grounding out. The door lock switches are grounding switches that provide a ground to the BCM lock inputs to tell it to lock/unlock the door(s). If the wire between the switch and the BCM is allowed to short to ground, it won't blow a fuse or anything - it will just signal the BCM to lock/unlock the door(s).

Since the problem is with unlocking, the wire you want to check is orange/black (the lock signal is red/black). The short could be anywhere along the wire between the BCM and the switch but since it happens when the door is opened, I would look in places where the wire moves when the door is moved (like near the door hinge).
