So I'm in the process of trying to figure out the wiring for the fog lights and the switch on a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am. Well, I got to looking at the switch and can't figure out what the "ON" indicator is. If I remember correctly, our cars don't have a dash light for fog lights, just the switch illumination light. Anybody clarify what exactly the "ON" indicator means for me? Don't want to screw something up that doesn't need to be screwed up.

I have no confusion with the wires themselves, I'm trying to figure out where the indicator is. From what I remember, our dashes don't have the "fog light on" light. Only way I know for sure that it is on is from the Switch Illumination Bulb on the switch itself.

The fog light switch is illuminated when the lights are on. There is also a small amber light in the right side of the switch rocker itself that is the ON indicator.
The switch pins are:
A - yellow - output to coil side of fog light relay
B - purple - power input to ON indicator light
D - brown - power input to switch from headlight circuit
F - gray - power input for switch illumination from dash light circuit
G - black - ground for illumination and ON indicator lights

I kinda figured that's what it was after I had thought about it but I wasn't for sure because my fog light hasn't been plugged in for at least a good year. For some reason I was thinking that the "On" indicator was the illumination. I didn't realize there were two bulbs inside the switch but I think I understand it now. Thanks guys!
