Metra 70-1858 question I have a few basic questions. I'm pairing my jvc stereo harness to GM metra 70-1858 harness.
I'm left with a solid orange wire and a solid blue(anthenna) from Metra harness.
From stereo harness I'm left with orange cable cable with a white stripe.
A blue cable capped off with a caution label " connect wire to the remote and or anthenna.
Do I connect blue to blue and stripe?
Do I connect solid orange to orange stripe?
According to my research leave steering wheel cable alone since I don't plan on going any further to make that work.

You're correct on both counts.
Since you don't have a power antenna on your Camaro, it won't make any difference either way on the blue wire, but I'd connect them just to not have loose wires.
The orange wires are for backlighting/dimming control. On the factory radio, it turns on the backlights of the buttons and dims display. On many aftermarket radios, it dims the display and buttons so as to not be so bright at night.
