Help with wiring line lock and Interior lighting to switch panel
I plan to wire the Line lock into my arming switch, and then from there wire it to a momentary switch button, and for the cigarette adapter lights, I'd like to hardwire the lighting straight to a separate switch to turn them off and on, because as it stands now, the lights go on when I plug the adapter into the cigarette lighter, and to turn it off, I have to unplug it.
I would love some help, what materials would I need, do I need any relays or anything else? If I'm missing anything please let me know.
The led lights won't have much of a power draw and should be easy to piggy back on the headlight switch. So when you turn on the head lights they come on or are you wanting something more extensive like when you unlock the car the lights come on with the interior lights?
I'm sure I've seen threads in here that address both wiring tasks you have laid out. If you need or would like to see how I've got my switches placed let me know and I'll go to the storage unit and snap a photo or two.
