HVAC Motor Resistor?

If it is that heres the part, I hate to be negative but it could be a PITA to get to too replace.

I got a similar problem with the 99 GMC sierra beater truck…whole blower motor quit working and it has been newly replaced a year ago, sometimes it randomly comes on when turning the fan control, I have no clue whats wrong with it.

Actually, replacement is not all that bad compared to some vehicles. Remove the lower instrument panel trim cover (below the glove box), pull away the carpet from the heater module, remove the blower resistor bolt, disconnect the electrical connector, then remove the blower resistor.
