Bluetooth Question
The way I understand it - I would need to install the adapter in order to even begin to have the ability to go blue tooth correct?
If so - Can anyone recommend a blue tooth adapter that would work w the PIE GM9?
Thanks!
There are other systems made that will interrupt your radio when a call comes in. I've always preferred Parrot brand systems, but there are many others out there. These will literally switch from your radio, to the Bluetooth module whenever you are on a call. The radio can be turned off, and you will still hear the ringing, and be able to answer your phone. The Monsoon system can trip you up, as it uses an external amplifier. The system you pick will dictate how this is wired in, and what other options you'll have available.
If you are willing to replace the radio with a newer model, then you can easily add the features that you want, and it will be an easier process to answer your phone calls.
I should clarify. I want to keep my stock head unit.
The only reason I want the blue tooth capability is so that I can listen to music from my phone. I don't care about using blue tooth for phone calls.
How would I go about doing that given I have a PIE GM9 - Aux available for use?
Here is the type of system that I'm describing. I still use an older version of this today, and find them to be very capable systems.

These will allow BT streaming, an AUX input, and even a USB input. Take a look around, and see what you think.
